The various hook and cord combinations have load capacities of up to 4 kg, 15 kg or 20 kg. The perlon cord is transparent and can be used with both the STAS smartspring and zipper / zipper pro. The steel cable is suitable for hanging heavier artworks and can only be used in combination with the STAS zipper / zipper pro. These cords with cobra hook-in system fit the minirail, cliprail variants, u-rail, multirail variants, prorail variants, decor rail, plasterboard ceiling rail and suspended ceiling rail. Tip: You can use two or more hook-cord sets per frame; this promotes level hanging and increases the weight that can be supported, depending on the chosen rail.

STAS hook and cord sets overview

This pack contains one cobra cord and one hook. For separate cords and hooks, please go to STAS Hooks and Accessories.

The cobra cords are only compatible for use with the following systems: STAS minirail, cliprail pro, cliprail max, drop ceiling rail, prorail crown, u-rail & multirail. Customise the type of cord, length + hook. There are hooks and cords for loads up to 4 kg, 15 kg and 20 kg to choose from. Use one hook + cord for small frames and two for larger ones.

STAS smartspring on perlon cord – carries loads up to 4 kg (8.8 lbs)
STAS zipper on perlon cord - carries loads up to 15 kg (33 lbs)
STAS zipper on regular steel cable - carries loads up to 20 kg (44 lbs). The perlon cord is virtually invisible. The steel cable is suitable for hanging heavier wall decorations. Please note the pack will be supplied a separate cord and hook not threaded onto the cord as pictured.
